Figured if snow was going to fall why not make it big?
Also this is something that happened with us long long ago when we were much younger. Jim and I had set up one of the neighbor kids so that he was standing (trapped really)on the front poorch of his place while our snowballs flew at him. As he was distracted by the onslaught every other throw or so was aimed for the roof of the house. He was unaware but it wasn't too long before gravity did its thing and covered that kid like a blanket. We were out of there before he dug his way out and never really saw him again.
